2 speedpaintings

Quick update. I did these 2 speedpaintings today in order to have something to post, over at Speedspot. It's a really sick blog with lots of hi-end stuff to check out :P

I spent a lot of time looking through my Air Gear mangas the past days and decided it would be a lot of fun to design a completely ridiculous pair of inline skates. I think I'll come up with a 3D/2D concept in the end to further improve my modeling skills,but first of all I'll work on a bunch of quick, fun color sketches....and 2 still lives to practice color perception and realistic painting

Just a couple of head studies....I still have a lot of problems with faces. Quick studies are a good way to get rid of the difficulties.

Sketchbook

I had a lot of work to do the last couple of days: working on the finishing touches of my portfolio, writing applications. etc. I finally found some time to scan random stuff out of my sketchbook.

2 quick colorstudies to warm up. I really have to practice a lot more to become faster and improve my color perception.
